Kenneth Finkelstein, D.O., FACOOG is the founder and CEO of Women's Healthcare of Illinois and is a board certified obstetrician & gynecologist. His practice is limited to gynecology and treating patients with bladder control problems (urogynecology). He has office hours at both our Evergreen Park and Orland Park offices.

Dr. Finkelstein holds degrees from The University of Georgia and the University Of Health Sciences College Of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, MO. He completed his Ob-Gyn residency training at Maccomb, Hutzel, and Riverview Hospitals, and the Michigan Health Center in Detroit in 1994. He served as Chairman of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Director of the Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program at LCOM. Dr. Finkelstein is also a Clinical Associate Professor of Ob-Gyn at Midwest University in Downers Grove and a Fellow in the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Karen Johnson, M.D., FACOG is the Medical Director of Women's Healthcare of Illinois and is a board certified obstetrician & gynecologist and Fellow in the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists. She practices at our Evergreen Park office and specializes in treating herpes simplex virus, osteoporosis, fibroids, polycystic ovarian disease, and general obstetrics & gynecology.

Dr. Johnson is a graduate of the University of Michigan and completed her medical school training at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. She went on to complete her residency in obstetrics & gynecology in 1998 at Wayne State University Detroit Medical Center. Dr. Johnson worked at St. Francis Hospital in Blue Island for two years and then joined Women's Healthcare of Illinois in 2000.

Vanessa Foster, M.D., FACOG is a board certified obstetrician & gynecologist and a Fellow in the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists and practices at our Evergreen Park office. Her areas of special interest include general obstetrics & gynecology, female adolescent healthcare, breast feeding information and support. Dr. Foster welcomes Spanish speaking patients.

Dr. Foster graduated from Hampton University in Virginia and then went to medical school at the University Of Illinois Chicago College Of Medicine. She finished her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Illinois Chicago Medical Center in 2002. Dr. Foster joined Women's Healthcare of Illinois in 2002.

Nichole Butler, M.D., FACOG is a board certified obstetrician & gynecologist and a Fellow in the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists. She practices at our Orland Park and Evergreen Park offices. Dr. Butler joined Women's Healthcare of Illinois in 2004. Her areas of interest include treating pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction, uterine fibroids and uterus sparing procedures, and general obstetrics and gynecology.

Dr. Butler graduated from Howard University in Washington, D.C. and then completed her medical school training at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Medicine. She finished her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Rush University Medical Center in 2000. Dr. Butler practiced at Rush University Hospital from 2000-04 and was also a clinical faculty member at Rush University Medical School.

Kathleen Slugocki, D.O. is a board eligible obstetrician & gynecologist. She has office hours in our Orland Park and Evergreen Park offices. Dr. Slugocki's areas of interest include general obstetrics and gynecology, minimally invasive surgery, adolescent healthcare, and post partum depression.

Dr. Slugocki grew up in Oak Lawn and graduated from St. Xavier University. She went to medical school at Midwestern University in Downers Grove graduating in 2004. She completed her residency in obstetrics & gynecology at the Univ. of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine in 2008. She is currently a clinical instructor in the Dept. of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Univ. of Illinois Chicago College of Medicine. Dr. Slugocki joined Women's Healthcare of Illinois in 2008.

Steven Ambrose, M.D. , FACOG is a board certified obstetrician & gynecologist and a Fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Ambrose is the medical director of the Women's Center for Advanced Imaging and Perinatal Medicine. Dr. Ambrose is available for all high risk pregnancy conditions, prenatal diagnosis, as well as routine obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound procedures.

Dr. Ambrose graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston receiving both his undergraduate and medical school degrees. He then went to the University of Tennessee Center for the Heath Sciences for a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Following that, he completed a fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis in 1990. Dr. Ambrose sees patients in our Evergreen Park and Orland Park offices.

Kim Niezgoda,RNC, MS, WHNP is a Women's health nurse practitioner and has been with Women's Healthcare of Illinois since 2001. She sees patients in our Evergreen Park office. Kim provides services to many of our new Ob patients and also well and episodic care for Ob and Gyn patients. She also offers family planning services for adolescents and adults.

Kim received her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from St. Xavier Univ., her Master of Science in Nursing from Rush Univ. and her Ob-Gyn nurse practitioner certificate from Loyola Univ. She also served on the faculty at Morton Jr. College, Moraine Valley Community College, and St. Xavier Univ. as a clinical nursing instructor.

Tanya West-Hutchins, RNC, MSN, FNP is a family health nurse practitioner and has been with Women's Healthcare of Illinois since 2009. She sees patients in our Evergreen Park office. Tanya provides services to our new Ob patients and also well and episodic care for Ob and Gyn patients. She also offers family planning services for adolescents and adults.

Tanya earned her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing degree from Purdue University and her Master’s of Science in Nursing and post master’s certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Valparaiso University.  Prior to joining Women’s Healthcare of Illinois, Tanya worked as a nurse for over 11 years at Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital in their high risk obstetrics unit and most recently as a nurse practitioner in Indiana.
