Kathleen Slugocki, DO, FACOG

Dr. Kathleen Slugocki is a board-certified OB/GYN dedicated to caring for women through every stage of life — from adolescence to pregnancy, through menopause and beyond.

In recent years, her practice has expanded to focus on menopause care and obesity medicine. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine (board certified in 2020), Dr. Slugocki provides comprehensive, science-based treatment for metabolic health, weight management, and the hormonal changes of midlife. She believes menopause care should be proactive, personalized, and empowering.

Dr. Slugocki grew up in Oak Lawn, Illinois and is a graduate of Mother McAuley High School. She earned her undergraduate degree from St. Xavier University and received her medical degree from Midwestern University in Downers Grove in 2004. She completed her OB/GYN residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine in 2008.

She joined Women’s Healthcare of Illinois in 2008 and serves as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Medicine. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Dr. Slugocki lives in the Orland Park area with her husband and their twins. As both a physician and a mother, she understands firsthand the challenges women face balancing health, family, and career, and she is committed to partnering with her patients at every stage of life.
