Family Nurse Practitioner – Tanya West Hutchins RN, MSN, FNP
Tanya West-Hutchins is a family health nurse practitioner. Tanya provides services to our new pregnant patients and well and episodic care for obstetrics and gynecology patients. Her special areas of interest include assisting adults and adolescents with family planning services and helping women better understand the importance of prenatal care.
Tanya earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree from Purdue University and her Master’s of Science in Nursing and post master’s certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Valparaiso University. Prior to joining Women’s Healthcare of Illinois, Tanya worked as a nurse for over 11 years at Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital in their high risk obstetrics unit and most recently as a nurse practitioner in Indiana. She joined Women’s Healthcare of Illinois in 2009.
Tanya lives with her family in Indiana. Tanya enjoys spending time with her family especially her adorable granddaughter. She also loves being outdoors, preferably at the lake. Tanya keeps active with her border collie, Koda who enjoys weekly dog agility training.
