Kathleen Slugocki, DO, FACOG

Dr. Kathleen Slugocki is a board certified obstetrician & gynecologist. Dr. Slugocki’s areas of interest include general obstetrics and gynecology, minimally invasive surgery, adolescent/teen healthcare, and postpartum depression. Dr. Slugocki believes we have much more to learn about postpartum depression. She dedicated a year of her time doing research in hopes that someday we can better prevent and treat postpartum depression. Dr. Slugocki grew up in Oak Lawn, Illinois and graduated from St. Xavier University. She went to medical school at Midwestern University in Downers Grove graduating in 2004. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine in 2008.

Dr. Slugocki joined Women’s Healthcare of Illinois in 2008. Currently, she is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Medicine. She is a Fellow in the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists.

Dr. Slugocki lives in the Mokena area with her husband and twins. In high school Dr. Slugocki performed in her school’s theater programs. She still enjoys musical theater and her favorite performances are Rent and Les Miserables. Dr. Slugocki is very supportive of medical mission trips. She has been to Costa Rica and hopes to go on more mission trips in the future. Dr. Slugocki grew up in Oak Lawn, Illinois and graduated from St. Xavier University.
